I like that Bitcoin rewards those who don't trust the state and its centralized inflationary money in the long run.

It rewards those who find the unlimited printing of state money perverse and have arranged to move into the Bitcoin economy. Bitcoin is genuinely a "social" project - in the last few years, almost everyone has had the opportunity to invest in it and become rich (a year ago in September, Bitcoin was worth $25k). If you haven't done that and left your state fiat money in your bank account, you've just PAID for your trust in the state and state inflationary money.

But there are many other areas where you can benefit from distrusting the state:

Stop paying for state-enforced compulsory health insurance and switch to a vastly improved global health insurance plan with the option of using the best private health facilities anywhere in the world.

Stop saving in government inflation money for a retirement you will probably never live to see. Instead, save in Bitcoin.

4. Your life

Get rid of permanent residency and the conscription that goes with it - and threatens the most precious thing you have - your life.
If you use non-state money like Bitcoin, non-state global health insurance and non-state healthcare, non-state alternative forms of education, and disengage from the state as much as possible (get rid of permanent residency, conscription, tax residency), you can have a richer, healthier, and better life.

El Salvador
I visited El Salvador. It is a beautiful country with beautiful volcanoes, lakes and beaches. I was surprised that there is no adoption of Bitcoin in El Salvador. The only place in El Salvador that reasonably accepted Bitcoin or Bitcoin Lightning payments (usually connected via Strike) was Bitcoin Beach in El Zonte. Everywhere else, Bitcoin more or less doesn't work. Most vendors in El Salvador prefer USD cash; you can pay decently with credit cards. My suggestions for Bitcoin payments were almost universally rejected. Bitcoin adoption seems to be higher in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Paraguay. El Salvador is more expensive than I expected - the capital and Bitcoin Beach are about the same as Bratislava. Still, there is more poverty there than in, say, Paraguay. I was pleasantly surprised that they gave me a 180-day visa straight into my passport (usually only possible in Mexico or Georgia, where you can get that visa for up to a year).

The reason for writing this article is that we are repeatedly contacted by unhappy clients who have decided to arrange temporary or permanent residence in Paraguay on their own or with a local agency but have encountered various problems where their application has been rejected, the agency has not been able to provide them with additional services or has been unable to deal with non-standard situations.

In the following article, I will summarize why our Paraguay Residency Arrangement service through Liberation Travel is unique compared to other agencies.

1. Checking of documents issued abroad
|
Our people in Paraguay can check all your documents in advance, and if there is any confusion, consult the Paraguayan immigration staff directly.
|

We can also deal with specific problems, such as changing a client’s name after obtaining residency, obtaining visas for clients who need them to enter Paraguay, or processing the necessary documents for Ukrainian clients who have suspended their consular services abroad.

For clients who, for various reasons, have difficulty apostilizing documents in their own country, we can apostilize them through an international apostille, which is accepted by the Paraguayan authorities.

2. Express processing of the cedula in one visit together with the application for temporary or permanent residence
We have launched a new service, which we have already tested - in one visit, we can take our clients' fingerprints together with the application for temporary/permanent residence and then apply for a cedula for them directly. Based on the necessary authorizations, we can collect all issued documents on behalf of our clients and deliver them to them anywhere in the world.

3. Remote Driving Licence Application
Unlike other agencies, based on the required documents, we can apply for a Paraguayan driving license for our clients remotely for both a passenger car and a heavy motorcycle. The next time you visit Paraguay, you must visit the local municipality where the license was issued and apply for yearly registration stickers.

4. Application for remote registration with the tax office
We can remotely register clients with the Paraguayan tax office (SET) and provide them with precise instructions for completing the necessary monthly IVA/ VAT returns based on the Paraguayan cedula issued. Alternatively, we can advise on how they can do this automatically. Most other agencies charge a monthly flat fee for this service.

5. Application for "proof of address" ("la vida y residencia"), remote tax certificate
|
For all our clients, we can remotely request an official "la vida y residencia" document that can be used in banks or crypto exchange offices as a legal "proof of address." This document can be used, for example, in the KYC process.
|
Similarly, we can request an official tax certificate if the client's tax authority in their home country requires it.

6. Delivery of all your documents to your home
We can pick up and deliver all your documents in Paraguay directly to your home remotely, thanks to a power of attorney (using DHL or FedEx).

7. Help with buying a SIM card, opening from a bank account
Although this is not an official part of our service, we have helped a number of our clients obtain Paraguayan SIM cards (even remotely) or helped them open a bank account (Banco Familiar, ITAU, or UENO). Since Paraguayan bank accounts are limited (maximum of about $1000 monthly income), if you don't have a local Paraguayan income, we can remotely open an unlimited, premium SOLO bank account for all of our Paraguayan clients at Bank of Georgia, whose cards work great not only in Paraguay but also worldwide. And, of course, it is possible to set up Paraguayan tax residency at the Bank of Georgia.

8. Acceptance of crypto for all our services

Bitcoin, Monero, and cryptocurrencies

In the Czech Republic, a proposal has been approved that allows a time test to be applied to the sale of cryptocurrencies, similar to the one used for stocks. This means that people who have not sold cryptocurrencies for three years do not have to tax the profits from these transactions up to CZK 40 million. Anyone who sells cryptocurrencies up to CZK 100,000 during a calendar year will also be exempt from tax.

For everyone else, progressive taxes on crypto will apply - income above CZK 1.582 million will have to be taxed at 23% instead of 15%. The lower tax of 15% will only apply to income up to CZK 1.582 million.
